At Connected Physio, based at Strive Therapy Hub, we take a holistic approach to your wellbeing. We are here to provide experienced Physiotherapy using techniques such as manual therapy, myofascial release, massage, pilates and guided rehabilitation. Our goal is to empower you to help yourself on your way back to health.
When the body breaks down to a point of injury our aim is to help you not only get back to health but to also build up resiliency in an area that whether through trauma, poor posture or biomechanics has become painful or injured. The thing you can control is how you by your actions help the healing process. Combining the manual skills of physio with active rehabilitation, here at connected physio we can create optimum conditions for your body to heal or to maximise the body’s coping mechanisms for those dealing longer term conditions.
Pilates can help improve posture, muscle tone and flexibility, core strength and joint mobility, as well as relieve stress and tension. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of lower back pain, neck pain and other upper and lower limb injuries. It is a useful form of exercise to utilise particularly if pain is a major factor in your symptoms or if you have a long term condition. Physiotherapy led Pilates can help not only those that are recovering from injury and need some guidance and modified Pilates techniques but also those that are looking to gain the benefits of Pilates in a safe and effective environment.
